Sweet Heart Fam was a group within the Akbayan student org at San Jose State University.

They approached me for a streetwear inspired jacket design that conveyed “Fun, friendliness, and a little edgy”

The final design drew inspiration from the “Sweethearts” candies, referenced by the small heart graphic.

The skewed and vertical lettering was also a reference to the candies and their jumbled packaging, while also bringing a lighthearted, fun, and somewhat edgy character to the design.

Several color schemes were drafted, but ultimately the white jacket and black lettering won out.
